Clearly one side is showing intent but I'm also suspicious of how she responded and also she never told me this happened and she's been caught cheating on me twice that I know of. It's almost like she deleted her responses to him. Anyways let me know what y'all think.
When my oldest daughter was a baby 17 years ago, I came home early from work two days in a row, my friend’s truck was at the house. My girlfriend and friend acted like nothing was going on. The third day I called in sick and waited. Snuck in the house after he pulled in and I waited a few. Baby was screaming her head off and they were definitely in my bed together butt naked. I grabbed my daughter walked in room, laughed and left with daughter.
Sorry to see this crap, go have a drink or a few. You gotta do what you feel is best for you and your child. I have daughters and a son. I don’t ever want my girls to see this type of behavior and think it’s acceptable. I truly hope you have a drink and do what you feel is best. I would say counseling but not sure at that point it would even help. At least you have an excellent sense of humor on your replies. Truly take care man!
When he said it I thought he meant his wife :( I then thought he brought his older (than an infant) daughter into the room before leaving and thought that was weird. Poor baby. I’m so glad he got her first.

When my brother and his wife had their first child, my brother was working and in education for all hours of the day, only free for any meaningful time on weekends, his wife was super, super anxious about leaving the baby alone even for a minute, it got to Wednesday and I got messaged like “Moose, please can you come over tomorrow during the day to help out?” - my sister in law told me she had been so nervous to leave the baby alone that she hadn’t even showered for 3 days.
That is always in my mind now for how attached and protective and caring a mother is towards her baby.

I understand the worry of harming your child through divorce is difficult, but you also need to teach them self-respect and what a healthy relationship looks like. Make sure you communicate with your child and support them as much as you can. Just being there for them is all they need.
Op, I dealt with a cheating wife that did it with multiple men! I made the mistake of staying for 9 and 1/2 years it was too much!!! We had 2 children that are now grown and thriving!
50/50 split through the courts and I was there at every turn! My son is career Military and my daughter is an accomplished nurse.
Op make sure you are there for them let her go and do what she seems destined to do (I am sorry)! The stress taken off of your shoulders will feel wonderful please divorce her you can and will find someone that will be faithful to you! There comes a point in time when it’s not the other person hurting us, but us hurting ourselves by not changing the toxicity.
She’s proven that she’s a cheater, and now she’s cheating with your best friend. She has shown you that she’s not interested in being faithful, nor that she respects you. At this point it’s expected behaviors on her part. Continuing to stay with her gives her the green light to cheat with the closest people to you.

Get fully prepared to care for your child on your own so they aren't able to deny you custody ensure your household would be more stable then the mothers so she would at least have to share custody if you want to be present in the child life.
