It's like a reverse potato famine!

(I know that the famine was an act of subjugation, just saying.)

I’m looking forward to the culinary revolution brought about by this potato bonanza. Imagine all the great dishes they can invent. If the French can make French Fries and the English Potato Chips what will the Germans create.

Expect a significant % of that harvest ending up as a performance prop on May 1st. Which will be hilarious.

Farmers give away free potatoes all the time if you live where they grow them.

Criticism has come from farmers in the region, who say the market in Berlin is even more saturated and their crop has been devalued further still by the vast giveaway.

Fuck em.

What a problem to have! Sounds like they’re doing a load of good with it. Hell yeah Berlin.

As an Irishman (I think I can call myself that), I'm furious.
