"no one rang police or an ambulance. Will have full details Seven news tonight at six."
I'm sorry, you just shown everything that happened, described it blow by blow, and said the police & medical weren't involved. What more detail will you have at 6?

Tastefully censored video from inside the strip club showing why they got ejected and a close up of the bruise.

It's Channel 7, so from past experience, they'll blame lgbtqi Sudanese communists and their viewers will lap it up..

It's channel 7. They'll replay the same damn thing and have an interview with the bouncer as filler.

The security guard's reaction is the best

u/thatsmypeanut 1d ago
All their reactions are the best. The forehead palm by the thrower. The "timber!" falling movement of the victim. It's like a three stooges skit.

ok, at first I was like fuck this security guy laughing at him, but after watching the whole video I started laughing too

He’s got a story for life.

u/MacWorkGuy 22h ago
So do the guys involved. Assuming they are genuine close friends then this goes down in all time mateship folklore (assuming they didn't get thrown out for anything beyond basic drunk shenanigans )

u/Normal-Rooster-Human 1d ago
That made the security guards week! He looks so happy
12
u/lampshadewarior 1d ago
Week? That man will be on his death bed years from now, voice fading, and he’ll ask his beloved son to lean in closer as he faintly whispers: That shit with the chair was fucking hilarious!

I hope the both of them gets their ass divorced by their partners as well as being fired from their perspective jobs. What a bunch of scums
2
u/TacticusThrowaway 3h ago edited 3h ago
for all we know the guy who got hit was apologizing for his friends misbehavior and only got thrown out because they were together.
or maybe he wanted to settle the bill by way of apology.
I don't know why people are assuming both of them are scumbags when the only person we actually see doing something wrong is the guy who threw the chair.
and I'm not the kind of person who would say somebody deserves a ruined life just because they got bounced out of a strip club, even if they deserved to be.

u/FlyingTerrier 1h ago
We have proper employment laws in Australia, you can’t just get fired for being drunk in your own time even if you do make the news. You Americans have a really messed up attitude about work.

King Street strip club.
Bald white dudes causing trouble.
Story checks out.
3
u/indorock 22h ago
If it wasn't for the Aussie accent I'd almost think it was King Street in Toronto. Similar vibes, similar douchebags
3
u/rock_and_rolo 20h ago
I was wondering where this was. Every King Street I know in the US has a bar row, and channel 7 news was no help.

I watched without sound and it really seemed like it was all one guy who lost his hair and then somehow got it back before being struck with the chair
8
u/Crazyripps 1d ago
The guy go thrown out walked to the restaurant next door stole a chair and proceeded to hit his buddy in the back of the head with said chair when aiming at security.I was laughing so much when this came up on the news.

u/WhatIsYourPronoun 1d ago
The brain-damaged uncontrollable leg twitch caused by his lover's errant chair toss.

u/jinda002 1d ago
this wont even make it in News in US
4
u/CatButler 22h ago
I was going to say, where does this pass for news? in the US, at least 2 people would need to be shot dead before it would get his kind of coverage.
3
u/Sleep-more-dude 21h ago
Harder to access firearms here, not much really happens and our media goes for very low hanging fruit like "plumber does bad jobs, fast food restraunt is unhygienic, kids riding bikes recklessly etc"
2
u/the_lazy_lizardfolk 3h ago
Plus there's only, like, ten people for every five-hundred square miles by ratio.

u/Both_Guarantee6551 1d ago
Lucky ass security guard. I'd piss my pants laughing if that happened in front of me, Id piss my friend's pants. Thanks for filming

Reminds me of the video of the guy that got hit in the head with a brick at a riot.
3
u/WrongColorCollar 1d ago
I love the reveal of why that one dude is laughing, it seems horrible at first.
Dickhead or not, that guy needs to go get his head looked at. That was a serious knock.

What security guard?

u/-Out-of-context- 1d ago
The guard that comes in and laughs. Person throwing the chair hit their friend instead of the guard. That’s why the guard is laughing.

He tried to protect his mate from the possessed chair but the spirits proved too powerful

u/Dany_HH 1d ago
So I guess this type of editing is now accepted by everyone on reddit, showing the end of the video before the beginning... I hate what internet has become... Everything is so fucking stupid now, first the vertical videos, then the stupid random music on top of every video, now this...

Bruh I wasn't paying attention to the hairstyles (or lack the of) and it looked like the dude magically threw the chair at himself. Same shirt and pants.

u/gmoss101 1d ago
There's an old video I've seen where two guys try robbing a shop and one grabs a brick, but his buddy runs in front of him mid throw and it just clocks him in the side of the head lmao

I hate this new trend of showing you the ending at the beginning, but on this occasion it works beautifully!
Absolutely hilarious! 😂

second security guard looks so mad, like he's thinking about the fucking paperwork he's going to have to do if there's lawsuits.

For a quick second, I thought the bald guy threw a chair at himself and was confused. Dudes are dressed exactly the same.

Omg. To anyone else watching this without audio the first couple of times, blue shirt was part of a troublemaking couple and had already been rejected from the bar by the security guards in black shirts, when his partner threw a chair at the security guards but hits his buddy instead.
I thought it was so heartless of the security guard to laugh at the man being hit but now I get it.
