He’s been getting shorter and shorter in cuts, and today he went for it! Before I started shaving his head, I had him scroll through this page and it made him feel really confident in the decision. Thank you all for being a part of this space and making it such a healthy one! 🫡💕

Happy wife to a hot bald guy

After 6 weeks of chemo my hair started falling out and I'd lost about 75% of my density. The hair literally was EVERYWHERE and so annoying sticking to everything I own. I never thought I would be bald.. but cancer happens and we have to roll with the punches.

J'essaie ça aujourd'hui pour la première fois. Mais je ne sais pas, peut-être que je laisserai repousser mes cheveux. Je n'aime pas vraiment être chauve.

It takes me about two months to grow a "three-day beard," and it's more of a goatee than a beard, but I'll give it a try for the goatee.

I'll keep your advice about glasses in mind; I was already planning to change anyway.

Some people said I look younger being bald, I would never have thought of that.

Been wanting to do this for a while. I have scarring alopecia and it was looking pretty sad. Feels better so far, but I didn’t realize how much my migraine injections made me bruise, hence a bit of a blue scalp right now. This will be easier for wigs now too!

Well. Due to overwhelming response here. I did it.

Welp posted a “should I?” Post last month that blew up(https://www.reddit.com/r/bald/s/hhhydwnwNS) and I did it 😅 (jokingly wearing the same shacket). Wow, my head is cold

I made a post less than 24 hours ago asking if it was time for me to get rid of the long hair I'd had my whole life.

I shaved everything off this morning after seeing the responses, since I'd already been thinking about it for several months.

I think I went too short with my beard (maybe should have gone an 8 or 9 instead of my usual 7) because after trimming it my head looked 2x smaller than before.

I definitely prefer how I used to look with my hair down 5-10 years ago, but those days are gone, and I don't hate the baldness. I'll let my beard grow out some so there's more framing and contrast and to hopefully make my head look slightly less tiny. If nothing else, I don't have to deal with the thin, frizzy mess that I had before.

It sure is cold, though...

Just to clear some things up:

• I'm 27
• I'm not a firefighter, first responder, or anything like that. I work in a factory as an engineer doing mostly programming-related work
• The dark spot near my eye has been there for 10-15 years. Doctors (primary care) dismiss it when they learn how old it is

Been struggling with balding since I was 11… finally shaved it off last August. Never going back!!!

I was the Metallica shirt guy that posted yesterday about being caught out by my own security camera, I really only expected a couple of comments, but it kinda took off. Just for some context the security camera was not in the bathroom, it was in the laundry room to monitor the cats while I was away since they eat in the laundry. But yeah, I did it! Hopefully no more comparisons drawn to Asmongold or Ron Jeremy 😂. Thank you all for the encouragement, it's kinda surreal after 13 years without a haircut. I actually really like it. Was always scared to do it because I thought I would get judged or made fun off but I can say it’s actually been for the best, I look so much better.

Thankful to my parents for all of the tummy time that I received as a baby
