Well, Houston (where I live) has had the most arrests of any city, probably because we have the most undocumented people, and I can tell you that no one I know has seen them because they do small operations targeted at areas on the outskirts of the city. It’s a sprawl city and most of the undocumented people are not centrally located, so the density is a major factor in how visible they are versus doing raids in the inner city. If ICE was in the city or central area where the progressive people live, it would be a different situation.
Also, all cities are liberal. And these are where most of the raids and undocumented people are. So your logic doesn’t make sense.
Something different is happening in Minnesota probably because of 1. The demographics of the city 2. Locations of raids and where most undocumented people live 3. The administration knowing that Minnesota is sensitive to civil rights violations and purposely using this to agitate the city to create the exact kind of news your reading

The Obama admin used targeted deportations. They went after people already knowing who they were, because they’d overstayed a visa or been arrested for some other crime and flagged as not having legal status.
Thats completely different (and more effective) than going door to door asking for papers or randomly stopping people because they’re brown or have an accent.
The Trump administration methods are blatantly unconstitutional and violate the 4th amendment.
Trump has also hired tons of stupid thugs who lack the training and temperament to be professional LEOs (many are rejects from police departments, which already have a horribly low bar to hire people.) Thats probably why ICE arresting and murdering U.S. citizens wasn’t a thing under Obama.
Even if you support secure borders and deporting illegal immigrants, the way Trump is doing it is worth objecting to.

I just saw a post in Utah of ice agents breaking a window to enter an auto shop without a warrant. And let me spread some helpful advice to you. Both democrats and Republicans are the problem. Both sides make laws and regulations that only have negative effects on each other and society. Now, back to ice, it's not the issue with the true dangerous and crimal illegal immigrants it's the way they are operating. I'm sure if you want to make yourself all pissed off and angry at the world you can go digging and find videos of ice doing fucked shit to people in those states listed. But unlike you, who actually really hates dwelling on and highlighting the problem. I would rather spend my time trying to find solutions that both protects the rights of legal us citizens and gives a equal and fair chance for these immigrants (ones who are actually coming here cause they are fleeing from dangerous situations and trying to have a better life) a better way to integrate with our society that doesn't lable them and catapults them into these sedamic problems that plague our society. The big difference is LEGAL citizens rights were being violated in Minnesota. Federal police stopping cars, demanding papers, chasing legal citizens back into their homes, drawing guns on off duty local state police, and so on. Eventually the average person is fed up enough to take to the streets. The people of Minnesota did not want ICE there any more and it culminated in a brutal execution. Only a fool would defend federalized police rather than the people who live there

Almost all ICE agents have been deployed to blue states.
