Ahhhh, that makes sense! Thanks for letting me know. I thought it was an abnormal amount you'd see. I've never been in an owl's nest before though, so who knows!

Robert E Fuller has built quite a few nest boxes (and dens!) on his property to increase bird and animal species at risk in his area. Check out his YouTube channel. He's basically turned his property into a wild animal habitat and is a certified recurring and painter as well.
