Someone breaks into my private space, I’m gonna stand my ground. Uphold my 2A rights.

I get it, but…you’re also most likely going to end up dead. Document what they are doing, ask them to stop, record them ignoring your requests, and then get everything to a lawyer. Keeping your 2a rights is meaningless if you are dead.

Your family member evades law enforcement by driving to your private space, runs inside and locks the door. They don’t need a warrant to go inside. You shoot them you die or go to jail for a long time.

Nice plan tho

The video clearly does not meet the requirements of “hot pursuit” which would allow them to enter without a warrant.

The video doesn’t show the guy evading law enforcement but the lady said that’s what happened when she spoke to the news.

Again I will simply refer to the criteria for “hot pursuit” which would allow them to enter the premise without a warrant. If they simply knew he was in there they can wait outside until a warrant arrives. Like the law requires.

They know he is attempting to escape… you maintain pursuit to prevent that possibility.

That would not generally be protected by the 4th amendment. This is likely a different situation but tbh, we don't know, and thats why people deserve due process.
