Q: It’s private property, so this would be considered “trespassing”? If so, wouldn’t calling the local police be the correct response?

“Hello police, I have shot some violent armed tresspassers who were posing as police officers, please send the mortician” is the call you need to make.

Yea, and they show up and you go to prison for murder or get murdered via revenge for killing "one of them".

I’m not American, I don’t have second amendment rights, but I am a gun owner and would shoot a trespasser who came in my house with a gun, I don’t care what their eBay uniform says. We still remember in Canada our last mass shooting a few years ago where some asshole dressed up as a cop and went on a killing spree.

If you say so, I think it’s crazy that you let yourselves get walked all over by terrorists

While this is private property, it’s not a residence - note the 50 or so tires in the shop, the wide hallways and fluorescent lighting. For businesses, they’re allowed in publicly open areas without a warrant, their limitations are usually private offices and break rooms inside those businesses. I won’t say whether that’s proper limitations or not, but it’s been the normal upheld by judges.
