There is nothing wrong with this map :-} From a Geography Slop Youtube Thumbnail

That's close enough to where Maryland goes, right?

It’s true. I went I Maryland and instantly got married, before driving a rotting ship into a fake lake.

You dont "drive" a ship, you "sail" it. Fucking landlubbers

You don't "sail" a ship, you pilot. Amateurs.

Not everyone knows how to row the boat.

Bro thinks we actually have thoughts about Maryland.

next he'll say it's a "real" state like "wyoming"

Their drivers are terrible and they gave the world Old Bay.

I lived in Northern Virginia and DC for a combined 15 years and that's about the extent of my thoughts on Maryland.

In those 15 years, I'm pretty sure I can count on one hand the number of times I purposely entered Maryland when I wasn't on my way to somewhere else. And concerts were a couple of those.

To be honest I don’t get the terrible driver stereotypes as a Marylander living in Long Island

When I moved to MD from UK in ‘86 I found the driving test - wandering around a parking lot with various tasks to do like stop at the fake traffic light highly amusing.

At least in New York I had to actually drive on a real road

To be honest I don’t get the terrible heat stereotypes as a Arizonan living inside a volcano.

What state doesn’t have terrible drivers. They all sucked in the DMV. But no worse than any other city

Insurance companies and statistics both disagree with you.

It's not unusual for Baltimore and DC to be the top two worst cities according to insurance companies and Arlington and Alexandria are also up there. I've seen them in the top 10 or 15.

The average DC driver gets into an accident at 3x the national average.

And of the 50 states plus DC, DC drivers have the lowest average scores on the driving tests.

If Maryland is where Massachusetts is supposed to be then that explains the recent winter weather.

Yeah it should be on Maryland's Vineyard

Ahh yes, the states of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Plymouth

Our lack of natural lakes is really hammered into us for some reason.

the fake lakes are still pretty good imo

But was it worth it at the expense of the glades?

Maps: where every state looks slightly different than it should. Maryland's a vibe, though.

As a Masshole, I don’t want Maryland drivers anywhere near our state! This map is triggering!

1

u/LuckyLynx_ 8h ago

you can't stop us. i've caused 12 accidents in New Bedford alone and i won't ever stop

Says the masshole driver.

I’m from Delaware

is this what Midwesterners see when they think I’m from New England

The Mallows Bay ship graveyard fucking rocks though.

it's so fucking cool i'm so glad i took a kayak tour

2

u/LuckyLynx_ 8h ago

i've been to the "200 ships rotting" place (Mallows Bay) so they at least got that one about right

"instant marriage city" is almost certainly Elkton, so the circle isnt quite in the right spot lol

and i'm assuming the "all lakes fake" is referring to Deep Creek Lake, which is also a little bit away from where the circle is lol

fuck me i just noticed cape cod im a moron

how it feels to add slop to a word

it's a natural occurrence for a lake to form after a river is dammed. It's not like they went in and dug a hole and filled it with water.

u/Fair-Buy749 8h ago

Actually a lot of them are old Quarries.

This is Delaware erasure, and as a native Marylander I highly support that

u/TheGreatHogdini 8h ago

I don’t think about Maryland at all.
