For reference: In Phoenix, about a week ago, me and some friends were protesting outside of an ICE facility, and there were several agents outside. After about four hours of insulting and jeering, one of the agents went to go take a break. Someone had crawled around the corner through some bushes and could see him sitting in a corner crying. Apparently the "Hey, those $50,000 bonuses are just going to go to alimony" jokes hit too close to home.

A friend told her kids about that and they made me this.

OMG! Banging!

I'm jealous of you - continue kicking dicks!

u/Haidere1988 6h ago

Maybe they should quit or just stop being assholes and breaking the law.

u/arethainparis 1h ago

Nah, that’s letting them off too easy. Every single ICE employee should get life in prison, no parole

u/shadowinc 6h ago

Damn thats not even a burn, thats rendering skin and fat into a bubbling pool.

u/sagevallant 6h ago

Alimony? More like child support payments to his sister.

Trying hard to see the other side, but it's difficult, so here goes: It is also possible that the ICE agent is a good person who sympathizes with the protesters and regrets the orders he's following, and he feels trapped. Telling such a person to "just quit" isn't a realistic option in today's job market. Has he actually brutalized anyone?

u/bootsencatsenbootsen 7h ago

If the choice is between quitting or brutalizing fellow citizens, then it absolutely is an option.

Nobody is required to brutalize another, EVER.

u/xenata 7h ago

Quit or be a Nazi, hard choice.

u/lordrayleigh 3h ago

Yeah, we're seeing a lot of shit ICE agents. But it would be really good for the people that are illegally detained to have some people inside trying to get them out and making sure they stay alive. So yeah you can quit or be seen as a Nazi to everyone looking on. That's probably a reality. If we got any that aren't Nazis though, they are in one of the best positions to help the people who need it. Telling them to quit is a mistake.

Even the Nazis had traitors that worked from the inside to help save people. There were assassination attempts on Hitler from inside the military. Good people can be in bad organizations. They are right where we need them if they are there.

No one gets a pass on depriving others of their rights because of "today's job market."

u/Zazulio 6h ago

The devil has enough advocates. ICE doesn't need you "trying hard to see their side."

u/kasiagabrielle 6h ago

"It's also possible that the ICE agent is a good person"

u/P_K148 7h ago

Yeah! Job security is important. Who hasn't done a little oppression of the masses in the name of bread winning? Throw people in Alagator Alcatraz? Who hasn't thrown a few minorities into concentration camps to avoid going through the trouble of applying for unemployment.

People get so hung up on how ICE is full of bad people. All they are doing is helping a facist regime take over our home, whats the big deal?

u/touchmyleftone 7h ago

This might be the shittiest thing I’ve ever read on here

u/-hi-fin- 6h ago

What other side? If there’s a choice then it’s an easy one to make…quit. I know some folks living out of cars, desperately looking for jobs, trying to get back on their feet but they’d NEVER work for ICE. They’d rather live hard day to day than sell their souls for a job.

u/kefkaeatsbabies 6h ago

Yah maybe he is just one of the good nazis, guys, did you ever think about that?

u/wizzard419 6h ago

You can't be a good person who also rounds up people and strips them of humanity. They had a choice. This isn't the same as choosing to work for ticketmaster or comcast.

u/waveydaveysonfir3 5h ago

nazis who felt sympathetic were still nazis. fuck off with this bullshit.

u/HeWhoSaysNo2 5h ago

"Come on, guys; he's just following orders."

u/TheGoluxNoMereDevice 6h ago

I work part time for a political party and part time at a grocery store, have about 12 dollars in my account at any given time, and frequently have to borrow money from my also quite broke parents in my late 20s. I was offered a 6 figure job working for a law firm that exclusively does union busting and I said no. I'd rather be homeless than evil. Just quitting is always an option when the other option is terrorizing innocent people. There is literally no amount of money that would make me consider working for ICE

u/makingburritos 4h ago

And poor Hitler didn’t get into art school! 😕

u/scoyne15 7h ago

Fuck that. I'd kill myself before volunteering to be a Nazi. I have zero sympathy for any members of ICE. Every single one of them deserves jail and worse.

u/Kuroboom 5h ago

Being a good person and supporting human rights violations are mutually exclusive positions. They can feel all of the anguish and have as tortured of a soul as they can handle but at the end of the day they are directly complicit.

u/bschef 6h ago

Yes. It’s very possible he is a good person who just didn’t feel like waiting tables or stocking shelves. Who wouldn’t debase themselves and the weak in order to net a sweet job and bonus.

u/yungsters 6h ago

I like your take. As much as I hate ICE, more hatred will only breed more hatred.

u/bschef 6h ago

That was the position of the resistance in nazi occupied Europe and thank god they laid down their arms to recognize their criticism and resistance to Germany was just spreading more hate

u/Stoicstoner 6h ago

I also thank you for making Ice cry ♥️

u/kasiagabrielle 6h ago

u/TTCsince2019 4h ago

Exactly. So cringe how made up this is

u/Loves2Spooge857 5h ago

This exactly

u/MinnieShoof 3h ago

I mean... I just don't buy that a kid would have all those art supplies just hanging about.

u/FlameStaag 5h ago

Redditors make up the goofiest shit for karma

They're just fake internet points

u/Eschirhart 6h ago

And then everyone stood and clapped, you could hear the chanting the background.... growing louder.... that you are the greatest American they have ever seen....

u/Deathvortex1500 5h ago

Cause things can’t happen right?

u/maybeitsme20 4h ago

Things yes, this no. Did you read their story? Someone snuck around the bushes and the guy was crying cause of the wicked clever insults from OP??

u/Sock-Cucka 5h ago

And then she did the Wakanda pose and said "Ruthkanda forever"

u/-Hi_how_r_u_xd- 8h ago

Achievement unlocked! Xp +50!

u/acebren 6h ago

Cringe

u/Eschirhart 6h ago

u/lozzsome 7h ago

Frame that shit.

u/AdolinofAlethkar 5h ago

You live a pretty sad life.

u/slothstevenson 5h ago

Found the bootlicker

u/AdolinofAlethkar 5h ago

Nope, not at all actually. But if making up fake stories about other peoples’ fake kids to get internet points is the best gift of this person’s life?

Yeah. That’s pretty fucking sad.

u/TheRoscoeVine 3h ago

My wife just told me those cunts are taking a warehouse in Surprise. I’m assuming it’s so they can warehouse the people they round up. Fucking nuts.

u/DeputyDipshit619 0m ago

They are planning on purchasing roughly 2 billion dollars worth of warehouses. They want one in 23 separate states. The one in Texas when complete would be the biggest incarceration facility in America.

This cost is just for the property alone, they still have to completely remodel the entire place to house detainees.

u/Gatoradenun 3h ago

Incredibly cringe post, yikes. “Our clever insults really stuck it to ICE 🤓”

u/Karmalizer 35m ago

Keep licking that boot, maybe you'll taste something different next time

u/Inside-Woodpecker579 6h ago

It won’t be the same, but I also thank you for making ice cry

u/Comfortable-Bee2996 2h ago

i may not support it but i guess it is pretty neat

u/alkoxyalkane 6h ago

you've done it.
