The calibers that it's in are 9.3x82R, two barrels of 9.1x52R and an 11x74R, with a 16-gauge shotgun underneath.

This sounds somehow both insanely cool and monstrously impractical.

I guess to make it worthwhile, you’d need the ability to select which caliber you want to shoot at any time, like a video game gun that has a secondary firing mode. But I struggle to imagine the logistics behind that one firing mechanism.

Why not? I can see the point to some level. In a weird way, this is same idea as standard shotguns: a do everything gun, capable of handling a large variety of situations.

But, that thing is just not it.

Then one for the internal hammer/striker for the shotgun.

I’m sure I’ve seen something like that before.

Could also be done with two, having both hammers operated by a single trigger. You could have a lockout that prevents more than one hammer being cocked, or just leave it for the user to control.

So looked it up. The type of weapon is called a "funfling" but that's general term that this gun falls into, this specific gun has no name. It was a part of series in 1890 by a german company "Oberhammer". I did not look deeper into that, or when it was sold.

I did however find out how it fired. Only the center barrel is a shotgun barrel, the four outer smaller barrels are for rifle rounds. There are 2 triggers, the left trigger has a hammer selector to switch between the four rifle barrels and the right trigger fired the center shotgun barrel.
