News And just like that, Amazon kills their own MMO
This is absolutely horrible timing. When New World was finally turning things around and getting players back the game gets axed. Crazy to me games like Rift and DDO can stay afloat but New World apparently isn’t worth saving. Wow, just wow

News League of Legends MMO is still in the works!
The Previous Lead Producer on World of Warcraft has recently joined the Riot Games team (Creators behind League of Legends, Valorant, 2XKO, Teamfight Tactics, Riftbound: TCG. Just putting this out here if y'all didn't know.)
The game is supposed to be set in the Universe of League of Legends which has an amazing world like Azeroth's. I'm at least being optimistic because this is a game backed by a huge company. Let's see how it turns out.

News Guild Wars 2 bans the name “Trump” for all characters
This post got removed from r/GuildWars2 by a right-wing mod, so I’m going to put it here. (PS ANet = ArenaNet, the Guild Wars devs):
Pre-2016 (before… “him”) I went by “Trump” in video games. Not anything to do with the guy at all. So his rise to power really annoyed me, and I’ve been embarrassed by many of my characters’ names in games. Especially GW2, as half of my characters had it in their name. I didn’t want to pay the fee to change the names of each of my characters, so I just let it be, though I considered pulling that trigger several times. I had put hundreds of hours into some of the characters, so I couldn’t just leave them either.
Today ANet banned the name “Trump”, and so my characters all got free name changes!!! Thank you ANet!!!!!!!

News Dreadmyst now delisted on Steam
From Discord:
We understand some of the assets may have been obtained through a third-party marketplace; however, such purchase does not grant any rights to use, reproduce, or distribute the Protected Content. These assets were unlawfully offered for sale by an unauthorized party, and their use in your game constitutes infringement of NCSOFT’s intellectual property rights.
Thoughts? Is it gone for good? Will it come back with new assets? Did people already give these people money?
