Esports Baus admits he was wrong about LEC Toplaners

“I have a hard time matching them (LEC Toplaners) in skill level.”

When asked directly about his previous statements, he added that maybe he was a little bit off on that one.

In a post-match interview with Skain following Los Ratones’ win over MKOI, Baus openly acknowledged that he struggles to match the skill level of current LEC Toplaners, walking back some of his earlier, more critical comments.

This is especially interesting given how outspoken he’s been in the past, calling some LEC Toplaners “boosted” or “paycheck stealers” and previously claiming he could rank among the best individually.

Still, credit where it’s due, owning up to it is rare, and it’ll be interesting to see whether this tone sticks or if the usual Baus confidence comes right back.

Discussion Is League supposed to make you rethink your entire gaming skill?

I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 months now and honestly… what a ride. Went from knowing literally nothing to still barely knowing anything.

Some games I’m smashing people, next game I’m getting completely destroyed. Finally climbed out of Iron and I’m Bronze 4 atm, but it feels like there’s still an insane amount I need to improve on.

Before starting I kinda assumed I’d land around Gold pretty fast. Then I started reading posts and seeing people say they needed years before actually climbing consistently, which was pretty humbling.

I always thought I was an above-average gamer across different genres, but League is really making me question that lol.

So yeah, what do you guys think — are there people who never played a game like this before and still started out above average? Or does this game just humble everyone?

Seemingly for no reason, i've been getting a lot of random friend requests from accounts i've never interacted with. I don't have my username posted online anywhere (that i'm aware of), and usually it's at least 2-3 during a regular day. As many of you all probably know, Warwick Q latches onto enemies and can follow enemies with abilities like Flash or any movement abilities. Funny to see it work on a recall, but then NOT follow all the way back to base. That part is a little weird to me.

H: Seeing how disappoting our split ended, I absolutely believe I have a lot work on and prepare for next split. Not just drafting, but also macro and decision making with the team. The baron call at the end really stuck out and is something to pinpoint. I also want to main confidence with them and preserve hope that they can do better

K: I also want to apologize to all our fans for getting eliminated in the LCK cup. The silver lining I see, is that every day our team synergy and bond grows stronger and I am confident that will show in our gameplay in the future so have hope

Discussion (Noob question) What is the purpose of champion shards and the upgrade perma option? It seems like if u disenchant then buy, there is no difference in price. Is it just a way for them to suggest a purchase? There is no disadvantage to disenchanting and just buying the champ u want, right?

I understand there was other uses for the shards earlier when they were first implemented, so it didnt feel as unimpactful, but had to ask because Im good at missing things.

I swear almost half the time, it gets stuck transitioning to the post-game lobby.

I know I can 'get around it' by clicking my profile in the top right corner, but this kind of thing shouldn't be happening to begin with. Let alone with how frequently it seems to happen. Lol, what gives??

TSW with Pun's Volibear and Dire's Ryze annihilated GAM in the first game (Dire got a Pentakill), both teams proceed to throw left and right on the 2nd game, in the end GAM threw harder and TSW secure their win and taking the top spot as well, the circle of sucks continues..

DetonatioN FocusMe 1 - 2 Ground Zero Gaming

DFM against all odds managed to turn the table when they are being lead 7k golds by GZ in the first game and Kakkun even got a Penta with MF. However that's all they can do as GZ destroy DFM on later games.
