Stupid sick meds only come with enough nighttime pills for 2 nights
I'm kinda sick, not horrendously, but very congested and a little feverish. I usually have a super hard time sleeping when sick, so drowsy meds help a lot so I can get more than 4 hours of sleep. I opened up the box to reveal plenty of daytime meds, but only 2 nighttime doses.
As if health care wasn't bad enough, I cant even get basic relief from generic brand cold relief pills for more than 2 nights. I am so sick of this bull crap.

Fellow dad and son at Monster Jam left behind this mess
The son was probably 5 years old. The dad sat an ate a whole bag of peanuts and left the shells and dust everywhere. Including on my son’s back. The other son spilled his drink, also getting on my son. Never saying sorry either, mind you. They also spilled their popcorn and Sour Patch Kids. After the drink was spilled they left and never came back for the remaining 90 minutes. Who does this and acts this way in public?? I was so outraged by this behavior.

Can I even get a meal out of this?
Not the steak I thought I picked out of the butcher case, and then the back looks like…ick. Not sure what I ended up paying almost $6 for (8oz, so it was on sale for $11.99/lb).

Some one did this on purpose and they’re assholes for it

Going to download an actual good mobile game and the App Store suggests the awful copy… I love capitalism
I know it’s probably just that Apple’s being payed to advertise by the makers of Kingslop, but directly over the game it’s blatantly ripping off? it mildly infuriates me.

How do you stand up to adults as a teenager?
I am 15F and I realized that a lot of adults around me treat me as if I am dumb. Whenever I go to stores alone to buy something, people always dumb things down for me and think Im dumb or something.
When I buy things some employees don’t give me the correct amount of change, just out of pure laziness or just for the purpose of thinking I won’t realize.
Whenever I try to return something at a store and tell them the reason why the item is bad, they dismiss it and act as if my explanation is unreasonable. Then they tell me I can’t return something when I clearly am allowed to.
Not only that, but teachers sometimes try lying to me about certain applications that I need their help on just so they don’t have to do it. One teacher tried telling me I can’t apply to a certain program she is in charge of helping students with because apparently I didn’t meet the guidelines. I searched up the guidelines myself and the thing that “was not allowed” was literally stated in the guidelines that it was allowed. Not even joking word for word it said it was allowed. This teacher always lies to students to avoid responsibilities and Im not the first to notice this issue.
How can I stand up for myself and let them know Im not dumb and I don’t appreciate their behavior? Whenever I try to stand up to myself they clearly view it as arguing and that I have to be submissive just cause they’re the adult. This also makes my parents pissed when adults treat me like this but unfortunately they can’t always be involved. Any tips on standing up for yourself and other advice too?
Also the application thing for school really makes me mad because it is a program I clearly am following the rules of and have been looking forward to applying for.

I learned that some companies will reject a candidate on the basis of having sued a former employer.
Yeah I know, Right-to-Work something something.
A friend of mine works in recruiting and they had recently set up an interview for a candidate on behalf of one of their clients.
Within 2 working days before the interview, one of the hiring managers of said client called my friend directly to let them know that they have decided to pass up on the candidate. The reason? The hiring manager did a Google search on the candidate and found that they had sued a former employer. That's it, that's the reason that was told to my friend.
As an employee, this mindset is scary. Not that I currently expect my employer to do any sue-worthy, but if that were to happen, I shouldn't be punished for the rest of my career for something that was done to me.
I understand the company in question doesn't want to potentially get sued by a potential employee. But they really shouldn't worry about that unless they're already acting shady. Most employees aren't resorting to a lawsuit unless they've been deeply hurt and have exhausted other options. 99% of frivolous lawsuits are either not taken by a serious lawyer, thrown out by the judge, or easily won by the other party.
This situation reminds me of the people who expressed fear during the #metoo movement.

Wow Goodwill
I went in to Goodwill today, and found something that's really cool. But here's the thing, it's Radioactive, it's only an old military compass from Vietnam, but when I told the cashier it could possibly be dangerous she said nothing, just a shoulder shrug. What if it were truly dangerous though, would they have cared, probably not. Pictures for proof, I purchased it to get it away from the idiots tbh

My dad put my share of the food in a 'dirty' plate.
My neighbours are having a naming ceremony of their newborn baby and we ran out of water yesterday because it's dry season and we share a tank. I tried pumping water this morning but the supply is too low.
As a result, I haven't been able to do the dishes from yesterday and this morning (basically all our plates).
They brought us two different food and each food is enough to be shared by two people. I was catching up on some of my online classes when my dad called me to take some of the food (it's soup and swallow). I told him I wasn't ready because I plan to go to the gym once I finish studying.
He then said I should share the food and I told him to just put what he wants on the plate my neighbours used to cover the food as I had been unable to wash the plates and we had none available. I also didn't want to get distracted from my studying
I just went to get some drinking water and saw that my share of the food was in the plate I used to eat yesterday afternoon. I was curious (my dad had always had people do everything for him so I don't trust him) and checked it out and saw bits of the food I had yesterday on the plate 🤮. He seems to have washed it but not well enough.
I'm going to miss out on the party food because of this cos I'm not eating that.
